Walk-in range is anything that feeds onto Snyder Avenue. From Girard Estate and Newbold you are three or four minutes out. Passyunk Square, Point Breeze and Whitman sit inside ten. Packer Park and Pennsport run ten to fifteen, longer if the stadiums are letting out and Broad Street is backed up to Oregon. Grays Ferry comes straight across on Snyder or down 25th, and Southwest Philadelphia crosses the river on the Platt Bridge or Penrose Avenue in fifteen to twenty. Most people here drop the car rather than sit with it — East Passyunk and Broad are both close enough to spend an hour in, and a fair number of customers simply walk home and come back when we call.

The van widens that circle to the places where parking, not distance, is the real obstacle. Center City and University City are a short run up Broad or over the South Street bridge, and a garage or an office lot there is usually easier to work in than a permit block half a mile from the shop. Darby and Yeadon are a straight shot out Island Avenue and Chester Pike. Bellmawr and Gloucester City are over the Walt Whitman Bridge — close in miles, worth the run when the job justifies it.
